I obtained my B.S. degree in Cardiac Science from a reputed university, the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India. Later, I completed a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Colleges of Health Sciences and Pharmacy at Idaho State University (USA). Subsequently, I worked as a basic science and clinical research scientist in the United States at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for 8 years. My primary research focus was on cardiovascular metabolism, obesity, and sickle cell anemia in pediatrics.
After that, I pursued a doctoral degree for three years in Nutrition and Lipid metabolism at the University of Alberta (Canada). I completed the Doctor of Public Health program recently at Alfred Nobel University, Switzerland focusing on cardiovascular complications in women with polycystic ovarian syndrome and the available therapeutic options. With extensive research experience and over 14 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students, I find my passion in advancing medical research, mentoring students, and preventing disease burdens as a Public Health Consultant.
